BUILDING BRIDGES
_____________

Nothing in life deserves such pride,
As to build a way to the other side.
Life: A simple journey - if able to see,
It’s building bridges from A to Z.

Bridges are constructed: Some with matter
Others possess none of the latter.
A common purpose they all share:
To enable a crossing from here to there.

Many cross rivers - or streams
Others are built to fulfill great dreams.
Bridges span treacherous gorges
Raging rivers, impassable by barges.

Some cross the babbling brook,
where lovers stop to take a look.
Others - swing and sway !
Yet,  still provide a sufficient way.

Quality bridges can sustain
the howling winds and torrential rain.
The goal of the builder must be clear:
A lasting bridge-- from there to here!
