Darkness of
the Light

From the deep - awesome - darkness of
the night,
Appeared a soft - a comforting light!
Man looked at it - with wonderment of its power.
Lovers bask beneath its glow - hour upon hour.It was accepted and embraced as a gentle sight.
This lessor light to guide the night.
Stories were told; dreams were made,
Beneath this light which needs no shade.
Millions upon millions were born and
died,
Before was discovered - another side!
Another side of darkness in this light,
Another side of darkness of the night.
What of this darkness do we know?
Where haunted winds and silence blow.
What in this darkness does the light behold?
What of this darkness is yet untold?
Would it change man’s feeling of the
lessor light
If the other side of darkness was in his sight?
Would man no longer look with such pride,
If able to see - the other side?
Be the answer to these questions - yes or
no.
Some where in time - Someone will show.
Will show the darkness of the night
When all things of darkness - come into the light!
