Wind & Walls
Shielded tears! -
Taut of body! - Gauntly she stood. Thoughts
jolting -- carried in the wind.
Rock walls echoed
her pain. Silent eyes, fixed on cold rushing
waters. Stillness of statued stone - her
body.
Jump! Jump! Spoke
the Wind. Steadfast! Echoed the
Walls. Years flashing like twinklings of a
diamond. Fingers of snow.
Jump! Jump! Shouted
the Wind! Steadfast! Moaned the
Walls. Crumpled roses for her
heart. Spirit snatched from life.
Jump! Jump! Screamed the
Wind! Steadfast! Demanded the
Walls. Betwixt love and life, a barren soul does
dwell. Life - essence of love? Love -
essence of life?
Jump! Jump! Exclaimed the
Wind! Steadfast! Cried the
Walls. Erupting tears of a spirit
free. Gushing cries of a tormented
soul.
Jump! Jump!
Commanded the Wind! Steadfast! Smiled the
Walls.
