MIRRORS
                  ___________
Ponder how the world would be -
        If ourselves -
we could never see?

How would it change this place?
       If never -
should we behold our own face?

If we mirrored ourselves, through the eyes of others-
      Would we be closer,
to our sisters and brothers?

Would some be less reluctant to say-
      "I’m coming through -
get out of my way"?

To never behold our beauty - or imperfections
        Being solely dependent,
on other’s reflections.

Would we be more reluctant to fight ?
        If unable to view,
our own might?

Would this help us - or the world at all?
        Or should we leave the mirror,
on the wall?
